Indian Constitution at Work: High Courts, like the Supreme Court, can examine whether any law is constitutional (ch 6). The judiciary is also the final authority on whether an amendment violates the basic structure (ch 9). Both statements are false. So (d).

The one fact NCERT doesn't give: A Constitution amendment bill can be introduced in either House without the President's prior recommendation (Article 368).

Class 11 Indian Constitution at Work, ch 9: the President cannot return an amendment bill. Each House must pass it separately by special majority, and there is no joint sitting (statements 2 and 3). Answer (b).

Indian Constitution at Work (ch 9) quotes Article 368: Parliament may amend any provision by way of addition, variation or repeal. All three are named in Article 368. So (d).
