Why now
Prelims 2026 went deep on Art & Culture.
After a quiet 2025, UPSC came back to the subject with questions on ragas, cave paintings and stupa reliefs. Every one of them is answered in this book:
- Which Carnatic raga matches Raga Bilawal?Chapter 4
- The Hallisalasya painting in the Bagh cavesChapter 7
- The Amaravati Stupa and its relief sculptureChapter 8
- Mallikarjun Mansur's gharanaChapter 4
- Which temples have a Nagara shikhara?Chapter 6
- The Moidams of the Ahom kingsChapter 3
Flip through it
Real pages, not a mock-up.
Photos you can read a temple from, tables UPSC turns into match-the-pairs, a trick for every chapter, the traps it sets, and the year each question was asked, marked beside its fact.

Questions
Before you buy
Is this really enough for Art & Culture?
For Art & Culture, yes. The 13 chapters cover the subject as UPSC has asked it in Prelims and Mains since 1995, and every one of those questions is built into the page where its topic is taught. Read your NCERTs once for the basics; then this is the book you revise from.
Is it only PYQs?
No. It is a full set of notes: photos, maps, tables, memory tricks and the traps UPSC sets, chapter by chapter. The questions are the proof of what matters, not the whole book.
Does it help with Mains?
Yes. Each chapter carries the GS1 questions UPSC has set on it, with a short frame for the answer, and the notes give you the examples and terms an answer needs.
Is it up to date?
Yes. The UNESCO lists, the Intangible Heritage list, GI tags, awards and recent finds are current, and a “What's new” section links each recent development to its page. It is refreshed before the exam, and you download the new copy free.
Will it work on my phone?
Yes. There is a phone edition: a narrow page with large type, so nothing needs zooming. Tap the contents to jump to any chapter.
Can I print it?
Yes, any number of copies for yourself. The PDFs print and take notes and highlights, but can't be edited, and every page carries your email as its licence. Please don't share them.
Is it in Hindi?
English for now. A Hindi edition is planned.
How do I get the files?
Right after you pay, on your files page, and by email. They stay in your account: sign in and download them again any time, on any device.
Is it refundable?
The files are yours the moment you download them, so the book can't be returned. Read the free sample first. If a file doesn't open or something is wrong, write to us and we'll put it right.
All of Art & Culture. One book.
