Indian Constitution at Work (ch 3): the Constitution guarantees every adult citizen the right to vote, and the same holds for contesting elections. But these rights are not among the Fundamental Rights (ch 2). So (c).

Indian Constitution at Work (ch 3): since 1993 the Election Commission has had the Chief Election Commissioner and two Election Commissioners, not five members. The Commission itself prepares the election schedule. Statements 1 and 2 are false. So (d).

Beyond NCERT: statement 3 is true. Under para 15 of the Election Symbols Order, 1968, the Election Commission decides which rival group, if any, is the recognised party. Its decision binds them all. Source: The Election Symbols (Reservation and Allotment) Order, 1968, para 15 (legislative.gov.in)
