Answer: (a) The International Monetary Fund

The World Economic Outlook (WEO) is the International Monetary Fund's key report on global economic trends and policy challenges. It is published twice a year, with interim updates in between.

  • ✓ (a) The IMF brings out the World Economic Outlook. It sets out IMF staff analysis and projections for advanced, emerging and developing economies.
  • ✗ (b) UNDP publishes the Human Development Report, which carries the Human Development Index. It does not publish the WEO.
  • ✗ (c) The World Economic Forum is known for the Global Competitiveness Report and the Global Risks Report, not the WEO, despite the similar name.
