UPSC's answer: (b)

NCERT answers it: Class 10 Understanding Economic Development, Ch 3 (Money and Credit).

How to solve it with NCERT: Class 10 Understanding Economic Development, ch 3, separates working-capital needs (seeds, fertilisers, raw materials like cloth) from assets (sewing machine, handlooms). A plough and a computer are durable assets, so fixed capital. Yarn and petrol are used up in production, so working capital. Pairs 2 and 4 are right. Answer (b).
