Curiosity, Class 7 (ch 12): in the Northern Hemisphere the longest day comes around 21 June, the summer solstice. So (b).

How to solve it with NCERT: Class 7 Curiosity, ch 12: around 21 June the Northern Hemisphere has its longest day, the polar region has continuous sunshine, and the equator always has 12 hours. So the Tropic of Cancer and the Arctic Circle get more than 12 hours, the equator gets exactly 12, and the Tropic of Capricorn gets less. Answer (d).
