Logical & analytical reasoning Easy

If RAMON is written as 12345 and DINESH as 675849, then HAMAM will be written as

Answer & explanation

Answer: (b) 92323

Each letter stands for a fixed digit. From the two words, H = 9, A = 2 and M = 3, so HAMAM reads 9-2-3-2-3.

  1. RAMON = 12345: R = 1, A = 2, M = 3, O = 4, N = 5.
  2. DINESH = 675849: D = 6, I = 7, N = 5, E = 8, S = 4, H = 9.
  3. HAMAM = H, A, M, A, M = 9, 2, 3, 2, 3 = 92323.

Remember · For letter-to-digit codes, map each letter once and read the new word letter by letter; repeated letters repeat their digit.
