The Digital Single Market Strategy is a European Commission plan, adopted on 6 May 2015, to turn the separate national digital markets of the European Union into one market by removing barriers to cross-border online activity.

  • ✓ (c) The strategy was adopted by the European Commission on 6 May 2015 and rests on three pillars: better access to online goods and services, the right environment for digital networks, and digital as a driver of growth.
  • ✗ (a) ASEAN has its own digital plans, but the 'Digital Single Market Strategy' is the name of the EU's 2015 programme.
